If you want to keep the background image as it is, you could try adding a semi-transparent layer beneath the text to make it a bit easier to read.Īnyway, I hope this helped, and good luck with your breeding card Phenix While the colours in the example you posted match the dragons nicely, it's a little busy. Your cards are already quite nice, but if you're looking for a simple way to make your cards neater I think you might want to play around with the background. The way you've set up your dragons (with the hatchlings below) is definitely a good way to go for static cards. Since I was turning my cards into animated gifs I could play around with the layout of the dragons a bit more since the hatchling are effectively taking up only one 'spot'. Go to your dragons' pages and click 'generate code'. Replace the 'COLOR RANGE ' with the image address. Save the image and upload to your preferred image hosting website. Take a screen shot of the card and isolate the color range. Because I have a themed hatchery the pairs have all been assigned a name, so I'm not listing each dragon individually. Use the Keelan Rosa breeding card generator to find out percentages and color ranges for your pair. I chose not to list the genes/percentages because it made the cards too busy for my tastes, and I personally focus more on specific colour ranges (also I figured people would be able to identify the genes by sight). I added a larger drop shadow to the dragon images to help make them stand out even more. I also added a clay overlay to give it a bit of texture. ![]() To keep the dragons from being overpowered by the backgrounds I used large, solid shapes and applied a drop shadow to the layers to make a paper cutout-esk look. Rather than take images off the internet, I decided to draw the background of my cards, keeping the colours close to those of the dragon pair. My cards were made in Photoshop, with the colour ranges from the Flight Rising Colour Schemer. There!
